Our Focus

Scripture teaches us time and time again about the value that the Lord places on Children.  Jesus when giving an example of faith, put a little child in the midst of the disciples and told them that, "unless they become like little children, they will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3)  Elsewhere, the Bible teaches about the importance of pouring into children for the purpose of growth and discipleship (Deut. 6, Prov. 22:6)  

 

At Salem Baptist Church we strive to provide a healthy environment where our children can grow and be nurtured as they learn about the saving grace offered through Jesus Christ.

We offer Children's Church during the 10AM morning worship service, Sunday School for children at 9AM and a co-ed class on Wednesday nights at 6:30PM for ages 1st-6th grade.

Our Goals

• To help develop a strong Biblical foundation in the lives of children that will serve them throughout all the days of their lives.

• To model for children the importance of living a life focused on glorifying Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of our lives.

• To encourage and equip families to make the home the primary place of discipleship in the life of a child.
